Our mission

Our mission is the establishment of a school based on the guidelines of the Waldorf School Movement as inspired by the Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner at the beginning of the 20th century.

We strive to create a safe, nurturing, harmonious and beautiful environment that inspires trust, positivity, resilience, mutual respect and where curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for life and learning can grow and flourish. A place where all can feel at home, accepted and included. A place of joy, play and humour with respect and consideration shown to all.

We seek to foster a sense of community through openness and collaboration, through conversation, sharing and tolerance, and through the extension of a welcome to all who feel a commitment and readiness to pitch in and help in the achievements of our goals.

We welcome the celebration of the seasonal festivals as a way to honour and connect with nature and the cycle of the year and to provide an opportunity for all to come together joyfully in creativity and artistic activities.

In the running of our school, we aim for openness, transparency and efficiency and a preparedness among those concerned to share the workload.
